Dr. Dhananjay Datar known as “ Masala King” Of Dubai. Launches his autobiography on Thursday, 30th June 2022.
The book describes Dr. Datar’s professional and personal principles over the course of a highly successful 38-year journey. Dr. Datar said he is motivated by five essential success principles: perseverance, hard work, ethics, integrity, etiquette, and patience.
Mr. Ramdas Athawale, Rajya Sabha (Indian Upper House of Parliament) member and Minister of State at the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, singer Suresh Wadkar and Wife – Vandana Datar were present at the launch.
This book, according to Mr. Datar, is his humble tribute to everyone who helped Al Adil Trading succeed during its 38 years in the UAE and the GCC.
The book is very motivating and contains numerous anecdotes that follow his journey from a little Indian town named Shirkhed to Dubai, the city of dreams.
In his autobiography, he discusses his humble upbringing and the periods when he struggled for basic necessities.
The book talks about how Mr. Datar fought depression & made himself the best version of himself because of maintaining good health. The value of physical fitness and good health is also emphasized throughout the book. If your health is poor, no amount of money you earn will matter. Dr. Datar noted, “I have put all of them together so that the future generation might benefit from my experience”
The book has numerous insightful observations, including his firm conviction that “Customer is King.” “We have done our best to produce high-quality products while also paying attention to what our customers have to say. Our stores were the first to run in a conventional manner. The merchandise wasn’t organized properly because there was no structure in place. But we made all those changes for the sake of our customers. We didn’t want them to wait in line for their goods. Then comes profit. Every firm must be operated with the intention of making a profit, yet ethically. Success is attained by a profitable business.
Additionally, I think that children should be taught independence and entrepreneurship skills at a young age.
With 50 locations across the GCC and India, Al Adil Trading is a well-known brand for Indian food products. It also has a factory in Al Quoz where, under the Peacock brand, masalas, spices, pickles, flours, and other Indian food products are produced. It also includes Masala King, an Indian division.
During covid times Mr. Datar has done tremendous work while donating money to various NGOs, arranging tickets back home to INDIAN who was in the UAE.
