Ashish Bhutani, CEO, Bhutani Group is one such leader who built his organisation, right from the ground up with a vision he strongly believed in and then went on to change the entire real-estate landscape in impactful ways.
Young and dynamic, he has travelled the entire world and been exposed to different kinds of people, places and cultures, and that has shaped his very thought process. He gained a deep understanding of the world, it’s workings and unique concepts from his international exposure, ideas that he brought back into his projects, which make a bold detour from the regular constructions in Indian cities and stand out for being truly global and contemporary.
The projects he is involved in are also an extension of his own personality. They are futuristic, they take into account the challenges as well the promise tomorrow brings; they are pioneers in their own right, each project sets out to start a new culture, whether it be in office spaces, living spaces or socializing; and they all are driven by innovation.
His energy and passion reflect in everything he does. The very first project he spearheaded, Alphathum, was hugely successful and changed the ground rules for office spaces in NCR. The structure was highly focused on efficiency, energy saving and building a better work culture. Alphathum also had the largest infinity pool in India, and a terrace with everything that emphasises the lifestyle aspect of modern-day professionals’ work-life balance.
With each new project, Ashish ventures into a new exploration, to bring innovation into spaces, to look at spaces in yet another way that hasn’t been done before and to make the seemingly ordinary truly extraordinary.
His unrelenting spirit to pursue excellence has made him an established name in a very short span of time and has brought accolades his way. He has been named under the “35 under 35” list of achievers across India by the Entrepreneur Magazine, who have left a remarkable mark in the entrepreneurial landscape of the country.
It is not just business that drives Ashish. He has undertaken several initiatives under the CSR arm of Bhutani Group “Bhutani Care”. In the last two years, the construction industry was badly hit and it affected everyone in different ways, from companies to employees to workers. However, as a leader of the organisation, Ashish ensured that nobody in the company or even his customers had to go through it alone. From arranging meals and medicines for workers to flying in associates or customers stuck abroad, the Bhutani Group extended help in every way possible. He was also involved in a social initiative led by Abhishek Singh, IAS Officer Abhishek Singh & SIGMA, that helped hundreds of people connect on a digital platform for plasma donation, delivered oxygen to the doorstep of people in need through OxyTaxi and are now running a vaccination drive at more than three centers in Delhi.
Ashish inspires by being inspired. He is one of the few leaders whose energy is almost infectious, and drives everyone around him to be at par with his enthusiasm and energy. Despite all the challenges the industry faces as a whole, Ashish has his eyes set on a better future, and it will be here, sooner than later.
