The largest startup event in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, North Star Dubai, organised as part of GITEX Global 2022, will feature a number of high-level events, meetings, and activities that the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy will host as a strategic partner.
With the Chamber’s assistance, record attendance is anticipated at North Star Dubai 2022, with the exhibition’s capacity increasing by 30% to accommodate more than 1,000 exhibitors from 60 different countries as well as more than 600 investors in a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Visitors can learn all about Dubai’s entrepreneurial and digital ecosystem at the Chamber’s North Star Dubai booth, as well as about the various programmes, initiatives, and services the Chamber provides for digital startups.
Metaverse and VR experiences
Visitors can apply for the Future of the Digital Economy: Business in the Metaverse Academy, which has recently been opened to digital startups from around the world, and use VR technology to immerse themselves in the metaverse at the Chamber’s booth.
The industry-first specialised training programme will give digital startups the skills and resources they need to create in the metaverse and take advantage of Web3.
Business meetings and high-level networking
The Chamber will host a number of high-level events that will introduce unicorns and more than 100 major investors from around the world to Dubai’s digital economy, competitive advantages, and stakeholders in the public and private sectors of the emirate.
His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, the Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, as well as the Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of the Digital Economy, will attend the events.
The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy will make a major announcement on the last day of GITEX Global 2022 to attract and support high-potential ideas in sectors with an eye toward the future and have a significant global economic and social impact.
Alongside North Star, the Chamber will also host panel discussions where leaders in the tech sector from the UAE and abroad will share knowledge and discuss opportunities and challenges in the market.
At GITEX Global 2022, representatives from the Dubai Chambers offices in India, China, Ethiopia, and Azerbaijan will also actively participate by arranging business meetings between 20 visiting delegates and their UAE counterparts, which include top companies, investors, and government agencies with offices in Dubai.
One of the three chambers that make up Dubai Chambers, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, will be present at the Dubai Government booth at GITEX Global 2022 where it will highlight the 50 electronic services that it currently provides to businesses as well as brand-new, cutting-edge digital initiatives that aim to improve the ease of doing business in Dubai.
